First Time Camping: Part One

 Bear Lake was a success! A little less rain would have been nice, but it was fun anyway! Ellie loves her new chair, especially when there are Cheerios in the cup holder!

 This is what I found during nap time. She had been quiet for about 5 minutes, so I thought she was asleep. Then I saw these little eyes peeking out the tent window.

First Time on the Boat

 She was such a good girl and the melt down that I expected... never happened! Thank goodness!

 She wasn't too excited the first couple times in the water, but ended up loving to kick and splash as Dad dipped her in.

 Drew is such a laid back kid, he just goes with the flow.

Ellie is just starting to wave at people. As Danny circled the boat around me so I could grab the rope, Ellie waved and waved at me. 

 Drew took a quick snooze.

 Carter got the courage to jump and then loved swimming back and forth from Mom to the boat and back.

What a great day! The kids did so well. We weren't expecting that. We don't give them enough credit!

11 Months

I am 11 months old and it is getting harder and harder for Mom to keep me in the photo chair! My new noise is the "Oi" sound and the first photo is the face that goes with it. I weigh 17 lbs 13 oz and am starting to be a picky eater. I love to feed myself and I can't get enough Cheerios. My eyes are starting to look Hazel and my hair looks a little darker because its starting to fill in. I have a new smile like a big girl, but still smile with a wide open mouth sometimes. I can now go down the stair into the living room, head first. I still love books and have for months now. I jabber away as I look at the pictures. I charm strangers everywhere I go, and when I get their attention I pretend I'm shy and lay my head down. A couple weeks ago, I stayed with Aunt Stacy and Uncle Rob for about a day and a half. It was the first time being away from Mom for more than 12 hrs. I am growing up fast.
