This is how she waits for her ride in the morning.
This is how she relaxes in the afternoon.

Transformer!

We went to Walmart straight from preschool so we wouldn't miss it. This guy is Bumble Bee the Transformer. They were both a little nervous about walking up to him, but he was handing out snacks so they got over it fast!
He gave them both knuckles. Benson talked about how pretty his blue eyes were on the way home.

Fun Saturday

It was not busy at all this Saturday at Home Depot.
We were first in line to see Santa.
Benson asked Santa for a nerf gun and Ellie wants a Hatchamal.

Ellie didn't see why she would write a letter telling Santa what she wanted when she had just told him in person. He remembers everything. So she just wished him a Merry Christmas.
Putting our letters in the mailbox.
 Fancy digital photo this year.

Capitol Christmas Tree

The Capitol Christmas Tree was in Pocatello for one hour this morning on its way from OR to DC. Ellie was at school, so Benson and I got to see it together.
Miriam, Jaxon, Morgan, and Dawson saw the tree on Monday in Bend and told us where they signed, right inside the 8. So we joined them.
Stacy put the girls names in too even though they had school and didn't get to come.
 Pretty impressive truck.

 It was a chilly morning!

Before the tree arrived, Smokey the Bear was giving out high fives and pictures.
Its hard to see, but the tree even had decorations on it already!

Kids at Restaurants

The whole crew went to Buddy's for Abby's Birthday dinner and Ellie had spaghetti and meatballs. She was too into what the older kids were talking about to realize the adult side of the table was watching her eat that spaghetti!

Yearly Checkup

Benson was first this year and at 4 years and 3 months he is 43 in. tall, 87th percentile (up from 77%), and weighs 41 lbs, 77th percentile (up from 75%). He also got a flu shot and didn't cry, just got kind of mad that it hurt!

Ellie was next and at 6 years and 3 months she is 46 in. tall, 51st percentile (up from 47%), and weighs 45 lbs, 43rd percentile (down from 50% last year). Ellie got a flu shot as well and took it like a champ. You could tell it hurt, but she didn't tear up and said she was just fine. They are both looking healthy!
