Two days in a row, she has been very dedicated to coloring.

Solid Foods Already?!

 To my surprise, our pediatrician told us that the new recommendation is to start feeding babies at 4 months old! Ellie didn't have rice cereal until 5 months, which even sounds so young. Benson is too little to be eating food! So we gave it a try and of course he is very unsure about the whole thing. He did just fine, didn't gobble it down, but at least there wasn't any crying!

Ellie is finally out of the teens in her weight percentile! Now that she can have milk she is getting big!

Benson

Height: 26.25 in (87%)

Weight: 15 lbs 1 oz (49%)

Head: 41.25 cm (22%)

Benson dropped in his weight percentile and I blame the constant spitting up. But he's got the height!

4 Months Old: Retakes

I am four months old and getting much better hand eye coordination. I am now able to grab hanging toys pretty well. I can't keep my eyes off Ellie, she's just about all the entertainment I need! I have decided I HATE taking a bottle, after a few weeks without one. I have a little more hair fuzz on top, but most people probably wouldn't notice. Other than at bottle time, I am a happy, easy going guy.

Ellie wasn't too much more cooperative than the other day, but Benson had a dry shirt at least! The key is to take the photos before he has breakfast. That way he is very attentive and isn't puking on his clean clothes!

 #1 Benson had slimy fingers in his mouth constantly.

November Snow
