Bumble Bees are Scary

As soon as she sees one she runs over to me to hide or sit on my lap.
I have to admit they are the biggest bumble bees I've seen!
If you can't see them they aren't there, right?

Summer Breeze

This girl loves to be outside. She is currently interested in finding rocks and sticks to put in the trunk of her car (yellow front end compartment).
She says  "Side go!" when she wants to go outside. Pretty cute.

Rough Nap Time

Nap time has been a challenge lately with Ellie's big girl bed. Yesterday she would bang on her bedroom door and as soon as I would go in, she would run back to bed and giggle and giggle. After several attempts to be stern, I gave up, realizing this was obviously a game she was enjoying. So today, I decided to try ignoring her pounding. After laying on the floor and kicking her bedroom door for 45 minutes, she finally went to sleep and I'm almost positive she slept the next two hours on the floor. She woke up with crazy hair and carpet indentations on her face! A whole other challenge will be when she can finally get her bedroom door open, and she is awfully close! Poor, naughty girl.

Weekend with Family

We could not keep this girl out of the pool!

First time experiencing bubbles...fascinating!

She would stay in the pool till she was frozen! Even after drying off with a diaper and clothes on, she just jumped back in!
Finally she got out and warmed up with Dad. We had to bring her inside to forget about the pool.

Potty Training Time

I don't know if this is a sign or not, but I ran downstairs to grab something and when I came back, this is what I found. She was just walking around with her pants and diaper around her ankles.
Today she is wearing a dress. Naptime wasn't going well so I went in to lay her back down and realize she had taken off her diaper. I sat down to put a new one on her and sat right in a big spot of pee on her quilt. Grandmas quilt has taken a beating lately! So, a toddler taking off their own diaper? Ready for potty training?

Rocks, Rust, and Playgrounds

Tickle, tickle

Didn't do too bad for the first time using a water fountain!

She was a little scared of the little people!
