Santa Round Two

Look who we found ringing the bell today! Ellie is always happy to put her quarter in the bucket, but especially excited today!

Sledding and Olaf

By the time we bought a sled last year, it never snowed again, so this was the first time either kid had been sledding.

Started off with Daddy.

Then took a turn with Mommy.

Then the girl who won't even go down the slide at the park took a turn solo!

Then we thought, what's the worst that could happen? So we added Benson.

Then finally, all three. By the smiles, I'd say everyone had fun. Benson would start whining as soon as each ride was over! He was definitely enjoying himself.

Then we decided to build a snowman and of course his name was Olaf. Hugging Olaf.

Seventeen Months

It's a good thing Daddy was home today for a little entertainment because he wasn't too interested in staying in this chair at first.

 

  Still loves peek a boo! Sometimes he'll just lay in bed in the morning and play peek a boo for five minutes before he's ever ready to get out!

I'm glad we finally got a picture of him and his hippo's tail. His hippo is by far his favorite animal and every time you put him in his crib and give him his hippo, he hugs him with one arm and plays with the ribbon on his tail with his other hand. It's almost automatic. Must be relaxing. Whatever it is, it's adorable and I'll miss it when he grows out of it.

Cheeeeeese!

I am 17 months old and funny! I say "shh" with my finger to my lips. I love to run away and be chased. The words just keep coming, including shoe, hello, chair, and good boy. I'm getting pretty good with a spoon and love peas, but I'm a super slow eater! I'm up to 12 teeth, all 4 of my molars are coming in. I still love my hippo and have finally been caught playing with his tail in a photo.

Finally More Snow

Round two while Benson was napping. 

This is how Ellie helps shovel. I probably shoveled 6 inches between the two rounds, more in some places with the drifts. And it's still snowing!
