Sleepy Wagon Ride

It was almost Benson's naptime, but we finally got a break from all the rain and we had to get outside! Benson started the trip around the neighborhood kneeling, and by the time we were done he was laying on Ellie with his feet up and half asleep. I was pretty impressed with Ellie allowing him to lean on her like this. She must have been pretty relaxed too.

10 Months Old

I am ten months old and growing! I'm up to 20 lbs 4 oz (32%), which is just what the doc wanted after being a little skinny last month. I have teeth number 3 and 4 now and am eating baby food 3 times a day. I can stand holding onto something and crawl fast when I see mommy or daddy. I experienced the beach for the first time last month at Bear Lake. I like to play in the sand but don't like how it feels on my knees what I crawl! My newest nickname is Swanty Benson after my 3x great grandfather on Grandma Ginger's side. Ellie just calls me "Sweaty Benson" instead!

Beautiful Sunday

Mother's Day started with a fun run/walk this morning that was all walking since I'm still not feeling 100%.

It was a beautiful, sunny morning with Aunt Stacy, Miah, and Abby.

I didn't even have to push the stroller! Ellie just sat back and relaxed and would occasionally point out a bird or tree. 

Ellie couldn't be bothered to smile for a picture when there were post race snacks to eat.

 

Benson took a FOUR hour nap this morning, so when he finally got up and ate some late lunch, we took some pictures in the backyard. 

  I couldn't choose just one favorite picture. Happy Mother's Day!
