21 Months

I am 21 months old and growing up fast! I say all sorts of words including, puppy, teeth, truck, car, duck, clock, good girl, hug, and cookie. I will finally give hugs when asked and know that baby brother is in mommy's belly. I love to look at myself and dance in mirror, including the oven window. I am now in a big girl bed and love it. I still sleep 12 hrs at night and one nap during the day. Now that I'm not allergic to milk anymore, I eat all sorts of things, but am becoming quite the mooch with whatever Mommy and Daddy are eating. I love shoes, I even shuffle around in Mommy's shoes when she leaves them out. My favorite toys are still books, but my favorite activity is anything outside. Bring on Spring!

Still a boy and still cute as a button! When you ask Ellie where baby brother is, she points at mommy's belly! Smart little girl.



 

Stroll

One perk of being 25 lbs: if you get too tired of walking, Daddy will just carry you. Wish I had that luxury.

Too much Dye!

My deviled eggs soaked in the dye for a little too long I think! Oh well, still very festive for Easter.

Easter!

We found an Easter egg hunt on Sunday on ISU campus. Sunday is the way to go around here! There were plenty of kids and it went quickly, but apparently was way less crowded than the Saturday version. Ellie really liked the Easter Bunny. He was a much bigger hit than Santa was! She wore her Easter dress from Aunt Kelsy, but we had to put a tshirt under it. It was a little chilly at 9 am. A few days later she was able to tell you she had "eggies" in her basket.

Bed head

Ellie slept all night in her new bed without any problems at all! Apparently she was ready for a big girl bed. The real test is going to be nap time. 

No More Crib

Ellie went to sleep in her big girl bed tonight for the first time. She looks pretty excited but I'm not sure Mommy and Daddy are ready to have a big girl!
