IBOB

The 1st annual IBOB tournament for PCSD 25 was tonight at Franklin Middle School and all these kids were so excited! Their team had 10 books to read and answered 20 questions with titles and authors. Washington’s 5th grade team won! And not only did they win, the didn’t get a single question wrong! Perfect score! It was so fun to watch and there were so many people there to watch the competition.

Ellie, Nahayla, Jaxson, Ryan, Ender

Ellie was voted team captain and read all 10 books! She got to write all the answers for her team.

Washington’s librarian, Nancy Muhlstein, was the team Coach. Ellie’s principal, Mrs. Stevens and their 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Howell, were both there to cheer on Washington’s team!

Easter

No tulips for Easter this year!

Or green grass!

Easter happened to be Jaxon’s birthday and the Lusks sent a “special” birthday video! An interesting rendition of happy birthday.

Snow Day

What do you do on a no school snow day in April?! Dye Easter Eggs! And yes, we are still using those red solo cups.

Board Game

Ellie created her own board game, complete with predators, prey, energy points, and special abilities! She took constructive criticism after the first night and came back tonight bigger and better!
