Christmas Day
Christmas morning started at 5:30 am with Benson waking everyone bouncing a basketball on the tile floor. He said he had heard Santa’s boots on the tile.
Presents from Santa: a light fury dragon for Ellie and a new basketball for benson.
We were a little concerned the hoverboards would be a bust. We bought the upgraded version because it was such a good deal that I couldn’t bring myself to buy the beginner model that wouldn’t last long as far as weight limit and speed. Worst case scenario, Ellie would be too timid to try it and Benson would either get frustrated trying to learn and quit, or go all out at 7 miles an hour and wreck. Apparently we underestimated our kids! They learned fast and so far have been cautious enough not to go fast. And they always wear their helmets!

Christmas Eve
So Benson’s reindeer antler broke right before pictures so he was trying to get it to stand up leaning against Ellie.
While Daddy was off trying to fix them, Benson was pouting and crying about the antlers.
My favorite.
For some reason he decided to humor me.
Ellie is always happy.
And Daddy can fix anything!
Squeak is mad we put presents on his favorite red carpet.
