Sweet Outfit

Before you judge me for taking a picture of my kid while he was crying, know that I was consoling him at the same time. But also that I showed him the picture and knew it’d make him laugh, and it did. He had hit himself in the face with the handle of the jump rope tied around his shirt. Oh, little boys.

Good Guy vs. Bad Guy

 I forgot to renew my drivers license for more than two weeks, so when I realized it, I ran down to get it done and had both kids with me. It’s right next to Bannock County Police where Aunt Stacy works! So she entertained the kids while I got things done. Luckily it was only a few minutes!

They got treats, met a policeman, and got in a police car. Benson wouldn’t sit in the back, said he only wanted to be the good guy. The policeman even let him turn on the lights! Ellie got in the back though and Benson hauled her off to jail.

I got a new phone! After four years and a destroyed screen, I needed one. My favorite feature is the cool portrait mode that blurs the background.

Our 4:45 start wasn't a bad time, but it was probably our coldest year yet! After a snowy ride up to Stanley the night before, we were pleasantly surprised that it didn't snow on us.
