8 Months

I am 8 months old and wearing my Easter dress! I easily roll in both directions and am showing signs that crawling won't be far off. I was sick for the first time last week and it was rough. I had a fever and terrible lungs and wanted to cuddle all day. I have also just gotten my first tooth, the lower right. I spent my first Easter in Boise with Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Kelsy. My nicknames are Bug and Buggy Bear.

Sick Baby

Ellie went to sleep Tuesday, slept all night and woke up sicker than sick. This is how the morning started. Junky lungs, terrible cough and a fever.  All she wanted to do was cuddle, and if anyone doesn't know, she DOES NOT cuddle. We knew she had to feel pretty terrible.

 She hasn't fallen asleep on either one of us since she was probably 2 months old! She didn't do anything but sleep and cuddle all day. No playing for this poor little girl.

 She woke up today without a fever and we even got her to smile and play! She still has terrible lungs and a cough that makes her cry, but you can tell she is definitely feeling better. She is also DONE cuddling, much to our disappointment, so she's getting back to her old self. Having a sick baby is terrible! Hopefully she doesn't get sick again for a very long time.

Pinterest

 This was my first Pinterest project, a wine cork wreath, and it turned out great. By the way, I don't even drink wine! I think I am in trouble now that I've joined the Pinterest bandwagon. Too many good ideas.

The only problem is cork didn't exactly fix my no color problem. Hmmm, maybe add some ribbon.

Return to Fun Runs

Today was the Shamrock Shuffle 10K and my first fun run since Ellie was born. I know, she is 7 1/2 months old! It took me a few months to get motivated. Anyway, today Camille and I ran awesome! 50.36. It was a beautiful day and a great start to the fun run season.

Green Beans

We have been trying new foods one at a time for a week, as instructed, in case she is allergic to any of them. Well today was the last day of the greens beans and it has been a love-hate relationship. The week started out rough, but just when I thought Ellie loved them, she threw up half the jar with just one bite to go. She looks pretty proud of herself, doesn't she!

Tough Girl

Ellie had her flu shot booster today and took it like a champ. Not even a whimper. She is a tough little girl and got a sparkly bandaid to show off. Even better, she is 16 pounds which brings her up to the 27th percentile! She's getting to be such a big girl!

7 Months

I am 7 months old and am wearing a cute dress from Great Aunt Vicki and Uncle Lee. I am way too cute for just a couple pictures. I am growing up fast and eating everything in sight! I now weigh 16 pounds (27 percentile)! I have tried peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and green beans. I love them all, except the green beans took some getting used. I log roll everywhere and love playing in my "spaceship." My newest nickname is Bubby Bear. I am now in size two diapers and 6 and 9 month clothes.
