No More Tree

Lumberjack Dave came and helped cut down our biggest tree. Ellie was not happy when she got home, but she'll always pose and smile for a picture. Danny is already doing research to pick a more appropriate tree for that spot.

Hat Day

 It turns out Ellie only has winter hats and today was way too warm for that. She loved this one of Benson's but insisted that it be worn backwards. She's pretty cute.

Someone Wants to go with Me

This girl will gladly ride her bike with me.

We are going shopping for a new helmet, pooh bear is too little, so maybe he'll want to ride his big kid bike? We found several new painted rocks on the trail today. 

Ellie is way more adventurous these days.

Bribing your kid with candy to exercise? Good or bad, it didn't really work anyway. There was still way too much whining to make it very enjoyable. 

Crazy Hair Day

 It doesn't show up that well in pictures, but one of her three braids was purple and the other two were pink. She was pretty hesitant to participate in her first crazy hair day, but she's already planning her first grade crazy hair day, so I think the pink won her over!

Ellie was slow and steady but never stopped. She was behind me most of the way, but was just looking around and singing the whole time. She really enjoyed herself, Benson, not so much.

Beautiful Day for Soccer

Benson is really starting to figure out this soccer thing! He kicked the ball several times and even had some pretty great defense, preventing a couple goals of the other team. He was really showing off for Grandma, Grandpa, and Kelsy!

New Bed

Ellie finally has her big girl bed! She picked out the owl quilt. She wakes me up at 7 am sharp to help her make her bed every morning.

 A little bit of whining, but this outing went way better than expected. Benson rode his strider bike with me so I could run.

Ellie is back on her bike and doing awesome. She's over her fear of crashing that started last fall, and she's even got braking down.
