This year was kind of rough, being injured and the heat. Oh my gosh, the HEAT! But we finished and at least it wasn't snowing!

Memorial Day

We visited the cemetary the day after Memorial Day, Dale's birthday. Ellie was really interested in the pinwheel in Dale's flowers!

There is a little ditch where those trees are, and some big fat marmots live in the brush. All the flower pots in this area were missing the flowers and leaves! Just empty stems. They must be tasty!

Double Digits! 10 Months

I am ten months old! I am crawling like crazy and can stand up hanging on to anything. Things have moved fast this month. In one week I learned how to climb a stair, kneel, and to pull myself to stand all by myself. My personality is really showing and I can get pretty dramatic. I also have become a little love bug. I have decided that I do like to cuddle and will climb onto Mom and lay with her sometimes. One day I decided that I love to clap and now do it all the time. A new dimple has shown up when I cry, in the middle of my chin just like Daddy. I have two teeth now and have finally started using a cup. Unfortunately, I have just found out I am allergic to milk! Hopefully I will outgrow it and Dad can stop teasing me about not getting to chase the icecream truck! While I have had many nicknames over the months, it is currently Bear that I respond to.

 Who knew baby gates were so much fun? It's a good thing it's there. She is all over the place!

Of course it was Dad that put the duck in her pants. Who else would it be?

 She has learned so many things lately, we forgot about clapping. She does not like her hands touched very much, so we kind of quit trying to teach her to clap. While we were in the yard today, building the block wall, we looked over and she was just sitting in the grass clapping. Just clapping away. We must have been entertaining.
