All City Meet

 

Benson got 10th place with a time of 15:19 out of 36 6th grade boys in the city! He was Franklins 3rd runner.

Back from being sick last week for a PR this week! Race at Hawthorne Middle School

Fall Hike

 

6.5 miles to Chinese Peak and back. It took us 3 hrs 11 min and even Benny was tired by the time we got back.

Another Week, Another Race

 

This one was in IF and Ellie ran the JV 9th and 10th grade race. 16th place of 134 runners! And she met her goal of breaking 24 minutes. Both Paige and Ellie ran faster than two of Century’s Varsity girls again this week.

Benson’s first Meet

 Benson ran his first meet of the season today. He placed 4th of 17 in the 6th grade boys, 3rd Franklin runner, with a time of 15:35! Franklin 6th grade boys won against Alameda. Great start!

Cardinal Classic

 

Another PR in her second race of the season. It was even a much hillier race than last week. She placed 23rd of 285 girls in the JV race in Soda Springs this morning. She even had a better time than two of the Century girls that ran in the Varsity race today! Thankfully after a week of taking it easy on a sore hip, she says that it didn’t hurt at all.

It’s a big day for these two! First day of High school and first day of Middle School!

I had to take this one after cross country so I wouldn’t embarrass him quite so much.
