Bogie Likes to Help with Yardwork

We were putting down weed barrier in the flower bed and Bogie was being very helpful.

I think he looks a little irritated that I interupted his nap.

Demolition

We aren't very good at home improvement, but Danny loves demolition. Our living room was very dated with wood walls and a rock wall for the old fireplace.

Danny had a great time breaking up the concrete.

Hopefully I'll have some finished product pictures soon!

Fancy New Deck

We finally have a new deck! As you can see, Brody is already enjoying it.

We love how it turned out. It still needs to be stained but otherwise it is done. We finished it off with a bench of Gingers. It is the perfect addition.

American Falls did not Disappoint

Miah was the brave one who decided to try the tube first.

They each had a pretty good time.

Abby in her movie star sunglasses.

Miah driving the boat again like last year.

Who knew the best part of the day would be just floating in the tube with the waves?

Danny was a scary shark!

PR

The Joint Jaunt was yesterday and I got a PR! For those of you who aren't runners... Personal Record. 50 minute 10K!

Dave is 31!

Happy Birthday Dave!

The Slip N Slide is always a hit.

I'm not sure how apples in the face was a good idea.

I hope Dave had a good Birthday!

Summer Fun

Do you see the look on Miah's face?

Rapunzel Birthday

Miah Cakes is 5 years old! The party was started with the pinata of a princess castle. The kids started off with blind folds, but none of the kids were too successful. So after one round, the blind folds came off.

Abby is a gentle hitter.

Birthday Girl and Uncle Danny

The pretty pretty princess Rapuzel dress from us.

Miah finished the party with a cake.

Six Sweaty Chicks Back Again!

The second annual Sawtooth Relay for the Six Sweaty Chicks was June 11th! Can you tell we were excited? Apparently Linda didn't get the jumping memo.

This year was even better than last year. Our team was kind of thrown together and last year we didn't really know everyone, but as you can tell, we are all good friends a year later.

Deb had the pleasure of starting us off this year at 4:45. We got to sleep in 15 more minutes this year.

Miriam warming up for her first leg.

There was so much more snow this year. It was beautiful.

Linda once again killed the summit and passed so many people!

With all the snow this year, everyone got beautiful scenic pictures of their legs. This one is Deb.

Rachel is glad to be done!

Camille kicked butt this year!

Miriam getting some refreshment.

Linda looks happy to be done!

We finished in 9 hours 34 minutes, beating our time by 11 minutes! It will be hard to live up to next year!

It is customary for teams to decorate their vehicles so everyone knows who you are. We joined in on the tradition this year and were very proud of our sweaty van! Can't wait till next year! (Check out Miriam and Camille's blogs for more beautiful pictures)
