Medal winners

I can’t keep up anymore but I got him started out fast enough to get a good pace and stick with the lead pack. The last quarter mile was all on him and he did it! This is the first year they gave out first place trophies along with the “beat the principal” medal. They got pretty awesome tshirts this year too!

More Racing

Ellie’s bestie, Paige.  This week the 8th and 7th grade girls ran together and Ellie got 5th place! Even better than last weeks race. She was behind 2 Franklin 8th graders and 2 Irving 7th graders. She was in 10th place for the first half of the race, then all the sudden she was in 5th! We are excited for the all city meet next week with all 4 middle schools.

Cross country

Today was Ellie’s second meet. She got 8th place among all grades with a time of 16:12!
