All City Cross Country Meet

Ellie got 4th place at the all city cross country meet today! She was the 1st Franklin 7th grader to finish with a time of 15:02!

 We hiked from our house to Chinese Peak on the first day of Fall! 6.5 miles and 3 hours later we made it back home.

More Racing

 

Ellie’s bestie, Paige.  This week the 8th and 7th grade girls ran together and Ellie got 5th place! Even better than last weeks race. She was behind 2 Franklin 8th graders and 2 Irving 7th graders. She was in 10th place for the first half of the race, then all the sudden she was in 5th! We are excited for the all city meet next week with all 4 middle schools.

Today was Ellie’s second meet. She got 8th place among all grades with a time of 16:12! 

First Day of School

Benson has Mrs. Briner for 4th grade.

His buddies found him first thing this morning like always. 

We got to school early after dropping off Benson, so I was able to get pictures without embarrassing Ellie!

100 Miles

 

Ellie made a goal to run 100 miles this summer to get ready for Cross Country season and here she is finishing it up the day before school starts! What a motivated daughter we have!
