Rock Climbing!

Happy Read Across America Day!

They were encouraged to dress as their favorite Dr. Seuss characters today. Ellie’s class is going to be a room full of “Things” from Cat in the Hat. Her number in class is 6. Benson chose number 2. This is as good as it gets when Mom is told the plan at 6:30 pm on a school night. They look great though!

Dark haired kids are hard to dye. We realized they looked much bluer in natural light.

Gotta show off that blue hair!

7 1/2 and 9 1/2

I am 7 1/2 years old and LOUD! I can tie my shoes and I’m getting better at piano. My favorite food is steak. My favorite subjects are math and science, and I want to be an archeologist, a paleontologist, or a rocket engineer. My best friends are Ellie, Kaiya, Kennady, Yusef, and Dillon. As you can tell by my photos, I like my hair spiked, as high as it will go!

I am 9 1/2 years old and just as curious as ever. I am constantly humming, even while I read. My favorite books right now are Dragon Watch. My favorite subjects are math and science. I asked for all science toys for Christmas. I’m great at math and have been doing 5th grade math all year in 4th! My best friends are Paige and Darla at school and Kennady at home. My favorite color is blue and I love beef stroganoff and spaghetti with meatballs for dinner.
