Picnic

Today Ellie's class walked a few blocks to the park for a picnic lunch and an afternoon playing. Benson and I joined her. Its fun to see her with her friends. I could never be a teacher though! After a couple hours, I was exhausted!

We found this bench after Benson's soccer practice at an elementary school. I love these benches around town!

Tuesday

He can ride just fine, but doesn't seem to enjoy any of it! Whines about not being able to do it, while he is doing it. Maybe 4 will be better?

Then it was time for dance pictures with Ellie's pretty new performance costume. You can hardly see the road rash with all that curled hair.

We love this dress!

 Benson fell asleep in the car ride home from dance about 5 pm, slept through dinner and went from recliner to bed around 7. Sleepy boy. Fun is exhausting.

Buddies

 First it was snow cones with the Matthews and Cliffords, then Ross Park.

Bike Wreck

On Sunday, Ellie wrecked her bike. She had been inside changing out of her swimsuit, went back out and didn't put her helmet back on. So when she wrecked, she got some good road rash on her face, knee, and elbow. We were a little afraid that she wouldn't ride her bike for another 6 months, like last time, but the first thing she did when she got home from school is get back on her bike. What a tough girl.

 After Benson's morning soccer game, we stopped by Home Depot to do their Saturday project.

 It was a mad house, but pretty fun anyway.

Walk-a-thon

It was a beautiful morning for the Walk-a-thon. Ellie completed 11 laps around the school grounds!

I LOVE SPRING

 Spring stroll in the cemetery. These kids are pretty darn cute and have so much fun together.

Proof

 Benson has mastered the "next time" excuse, the one where next time never comes. So I needed proof that this event actually happened!

 We went back to the AMI trail, this time we didn't bring his little strider.

 A nicely paved, wide path that goes relatively straight for over a mile and has no traffic is the perfect place to learn to ride a bike.

 He got his new storm trooper helmet strapped on and...

Fun Tuesday

It was a chilly morning at Highland High School watching Miah compete in the all city track meet.

 She placed second in the high jump for 6th grade girls!

 Pretty blossoms outside dance class, and a pretty ballerina too.
