Bear Lake Round Two

We headed to Bear Lake for the day to mow the lawn. (Our lawn care team moved to Oregon!) After a month and a half of rain, the grass was two feet tall in some spots and waist high in others! So we were going to drop off Danny to get started and the kids and I were going to the cemetery for a couple more pictures then to get lunch. Well the lawn mower was dead and after jumping it off the jeep a couple times, it was done for good. It needs a new battery and a new belt. Not just any riding lawn mower can handle grass that tall!
While we were waiting, Benson fell asleep in the car and Ellie and I had lunch at the Bear Cave. She was hiding to poop and thought I couldn't see her behind the leaves!
When Danny finally gave up on the lawn, we headed to the beach.

This time we had a cranky girl and a happy boy, just the opposite of last time. That's just how it goes, I guess.

Relaxing

Benson crawled into Ellie's room and this is how I found him. Relaxing on Ellie's big pillow. Looks like I need to make him one too.

Trampoline

One more reason to love Aunt Stacy and Uncle Rob's house! She did not want to get off the trampoline until someone mentioned icecream. Then she was ready to dive off head first just to get in the house.

First Pool Party

I think this girl could have stayed in the pool all day!

This guy was enjoying himself, but really got laughing when he realized he could hold on with one hand and splash with the other. He was sure he didn't want to sit down in the cold water to play.

Warming up in the sunshine for a few minutes. Little boy bum without a diaper on!

High Chair

Even though it doesn't look like it, Benson was having fun.

Finally caught a picture of those two top teeth! And the squishy nose, as we call it.

Rough Day

Sweet and adorable, right? Well the MELTDOWN that preceded these pictures was anything but sweet and adorable. It's hard being almost 3 years old. It's hard being the mom of an almost 3 year old sometimes too. But then she falls asleep on your shoulder.

Boise Fun

Relaxing and reading with Grammy.
Gardening
Eating grass
This cute 10.5 month old still lets me swaddle him!
New Ocar Owl from Grammy.
For some reason, crawling through the coffee table was great fun until they started bonking heads.
