Santa Success

Festival of Trees at the performing arts center

She was nervously playing with her shirt.

So many pretty trees.

Silly face

We started with the easy one while we convinced Ellie to join him. Luckily there wasn't a line to see Sants yet, so we could take our time.

She wouldn't willingly jump on his lap, but didn't object once Daddy put her there.

We were pleasantly surprised how well it went! What an adorable Christmas card!

A LaGrande Thanksgiving

Benson hanging out with Grandpa.

Ellie checking out the cows.

Ellie trying to pretend great grandma isn't standing there.

Playing with classic toys.

Seth can grow a beard better than Danny.

Great grandma meeting Benson.

Ellie discovered a red candle while mommy wasn't looking.

The Artist

Two days in a row, she has been very dedicated to coloring.

Ellie and Mommy masterpiece.

Benson just watches with a smile on his face.

Solid Foods Already?!

To my surprise, our pediatrician told us that the new recommendation is to start feeding babies at 4 months old! Ellie didn't have rice cereal until 5 months, which even sounds so young. Benson is too little to be eating food! So we gave it a try and of course he is very unsure about the whole thing. He did just fine, didn't gobble it down, but at least there wasn't any crying!

Looking adorable in a bib Grammy made.

Can't get enough of those big brown eyes.

Daddy doing the feeding, sporting his best Movember beard!

Stats

Ellie

Height: 34.5 in (35%)

Weight: 28 lbs 8 oz (57%)

Head: 48 cm (52%)

Ellie is finally out of the teens in her weight percentile! Now that she can have milk she is getting big!

Benson

Height: 26.25 in (87%)

Weight: 15 lbs 1 oz (49%)

Head: 41.25 cm (22%)

Benson dropped in his weight percentile and I blame the constant spitting up. But he's got the height!

4 Months Old: Retakes

I am four months old and getting much better hand eye coordination. I am now able to grab hanging toys pretty well. I can't keep my eyes off Ellie, she's just about all the entertainment I need! I have decided I HATE taking a bottle, after a few weeks without one. I have a little more hair fuzz on top, but most people probably wouldn't notice. Other than at bottle time, I am a happy, easy going guy.

Ellie wasn't too much more cooperative than the other day, but Benson had a dry shirt at least! The key is to take the photos before he has breakfast. That way he is very attentive and isn't puking on his clean clothes!

Smooches

You can never have enough of these pictures.

Photo Shoot Failure

Failure for many reasons, I'll just mention 4 of them.

#1 Benson had slimy fingers in his mouth constantly.

#2 Ellie was not in the mood.

#3 Ellie had rug burn on her nose.

#4 Benson was puking, like always.

November Snow

First snow of the season.

Excited wiggly fingers!

What a good job mommy did shoveling snow!

Getting tossed into the snow by her friend, Kierrah. We need some snow pants ASAP!

Mini Me

I had already picked out her clothes and was slipping her shirt over her head before I noticed! Danny doesn't believe me. If only I had cute boots!

Babies

These sure are cute babies!
