It's a BOY!

20.5 weeks

Woohoo! Danny was sure it was going to be another girl, but I was pretty confident it was a boy! Moms know what they are talking about. To see the ultrasound, go to www.bebevu.com

Oscar

Finally getting over our fear of Oscar the humidifier owl! This is as close as she is willing to get, but it is definitely an improvement.

Poofy eyes

I had just been bragging about how healthy this little girl is and how rarely she is sick when all the sudden she was! Cough, runny nose, watery, poofy eyes. So sad. Luckily she only felt bad for one day, I think, because she has been in a pretty good mood. Thank goodness for 12-13 hrs of sleep at night! Sick little girls need their sleep!

Smart Girl

I made some baby cereal today because I figured there was really no other option but to figure out how to use a spoon. She's had a hard time with the spoon. She just wants to play with it. She won't let you show her how to use it, she'll just throw a mini fit, so I assume it will just come to her one day. So back to the cereal. Apparently the spoon wasn't the ONLY option. She found that it was easier to just grab the mush by the fistful than worry about that silly spoon.

Yarn and Felt

My newest Pinterest creation. I liked this one because it reminds me if argyle socks! We needed some holiday decorations around here. Danny thinks I'm a little crazy about wreaths but I think they are cute decorations without being too tacky. Ellie likes this one and points and "oooh"s at it. I put it on the inside of the door this time. We never use our front door and I'm tired of never seeing my projects. So it's on the inside!

Shoveling Snow

Ellie wanted to help Daddy shovel snow so bad. She was out in the cold for a long time until he finished. Even with bright red cheeks and nose, she was so upset when he brought her in. She wanted to stay out all day!

Stuck

Ellie was playing in her room by herself while we sat in the living room. We started hearing grunting and thought she was probably trying to climb onto her rocking chair. Danny walked in to see what she was doing and didn't see her. He looked under her crib and saw this! She apparently went after something she wanted and once she got it, couldn't figure out how to back up. By the pictures, you can tell she then got pretty upset about being stuck!

Next Marilyn Monroe?

Or maybe she just likes the heat vent as much as her mommy.

Blender

The only time I get cuddles like this is when Daddy uses the blender. It makes us very upset. The only downside was all the tears and slobber on my shoulder.

17 Months

This photo shoot was all about funny faces. She got so many pretty clothes for Christmas but we decided that she needs to wear a dress every once in a while! Plus she had a headband to match and is actually tolerating them these days.

At least she is being very lady like in her dress!
Apparently she is getting too big to just sit in the chair.

I am 17 months old and wearing a Christmas present from Brookney. I got lots of cute clothes but Mom thought I should wear a dress now and then. My nicknames are Sweet Girl and Sweet Bear and they describe my personality well. I want to carry a blankie around the house and am saying new sounds like "Abby." I am always pointing but definitely with a purpose now. I wear size 3 diapers still and 12-18 mo clothes. I still need my beauty rest, 12 hr at night and 2 naps a day. I am always laughing and being silly, including playing keep away from Mom and Dad.
