Some Progress

 This is 26 weeks! Only 14 more to go.

This is our first baby purchase! We are lucky enough to have family that have shared so many baby items with us, but I started getting a little anxious about the fact that I hadn't bought one thing for this little girl! Well, I finally decided on colors and found this adorable bedding online. So dragonflies it is! We also ordered a crib. The blanket is hanging on a piece of it, and yes it is still in pieces in the baby's room. As soon as we get a day off, there will be more pictures to post!

Today is such a nice day, we decided to take the dogs for a walk on the trails near our new house. Bogie even got a 20 minute break and he still couldn't make it up the hill! Danny gave him a little help.Brody was pretty tired too. That is the only way I was able to get him to pose next to the fire hydrant!

It's a baby GIRL!

Now we need a name! If it was Miah's decision it would be Annabelle, Abby's choice is Abby. Hmmm, I think we'll keep taking suggestions.
 

Pocatello Penguin

Danny says, "Hurry! Look outside! There is a penguin in the backyard." Turns out it is a chucker, but still pretty funny looking and fat. I've lived in Eastern Idaho for 12 years, and this is the first time I've seen a chucker.

It's a good thing Brody didn't see it, he'd want to play with it. He plays rough.

Christmas at New Years

Getting all the Christmas festivities in gets a lot harder when you get married, especially with everyone in different cities, especially when you work in a hospital and are scheduled all of Christmas week. That is why this year we didn't make it to Boise until New Years Eve. It had been an exciting December and we were waiting to share all our news in person. First of all, we bought a new house, which was a little unexpected even to us. We had planned on looking seriously in the spring, but when you find the right one you have to jump on it.

The moment the big news came out! Our baby is due August 2nd!

Trying not to cry. I'd say it was a pretty good Christmas, even if it was a little late this year.

Christmas in SLC

Ethan, Jaxon, Morgan, Abby, Tate, Miah, and Ryan all bundled up. Waiting for the train to Downtown SLC. Side note, Miah: "Am I still older than Abby even though she's taller than me?" So cute.

The Christmas lights were beautiful! But it was COLD! Not to mention the many Santa Claus running around downtown, some in their underware. Weird, and probably confusing to the kids in a couple ways!

We ventured to Knox Canyon again to find the perfect tree, even after the bad luck of getting stuck last year. The BLM guy said the conditions were worse this year, but he was wrong.

All in all, a nice day and a successful trip.
