McCall Getaway

So many photos, I don't know where to start.

The view from our house was amazing.

There was a lot of lounging around going on.

Danny using a kiddy fishing pole in his tuxedo tshirt. He didn't catch anything as you probably figured.

The maid of honor and "The New Guy." This is what the boys referred to Shawn as.

Toes in the sand.

The bachelorette party that turned into the dance party! Thats all that needs to be said about that.

This is the only photo I have of the ceremony right now! I want to see more!
The Allisons enjoying dinner.
The beautiful maid of honor and her man. We had some good looking people at this wedding! The day after the wedding we went exploring with the little kids.
Abby was "skipping," if that's what you want to call it! So cute!
Nieces and nephews. It turned pretty cold right after the wedding.

The beautiful lookout at the top of Ponderosa Park.
There are so many more pictures, but too much of a pain to post! Camille had some great ones of her family, but I will let her post those herself. I won't spoil her fun!

Zoofari

I found out Zoofari is all about the icecream. The animals weren't that impressive, but there was icecream everywhere! Thats enough to get me to tag a long.

Abby wasn't too sure about the bear, but decided to give him a try.

It was pretty hard getting Miah Cakes out of the bouncy house.

Jaxon would rather dig in the gravel like a boy.

Jaxon hated his fireman hat.

Ethan is clearly too cool for this sort of thing.

More Boating

Saturday we headed out to American Falls Resevoir for an afternoon of fun on the boat. Here are the girls ready for some fun.

Abby quickly decided that the "pool" was NOT fun. I think she wasn't quite ready for how cold the water was.
She was much more content watching everyone else swim.

Miah took her job as flag girl very seriously.
Rob showing his skills.

Stacy showing her skills.
At the end of a long afternoon in the sun, all you need is mom and a juice box.

Miah showed Uncle Danny a thing or two about how to drive a boat and took us for a wild ride.

Life Fun Run 10K

Another successful race on Saturday. By successful, I mean I finished! Actually I did pretty well. It was my second fastest 10K yet at 54:30. It was pretty surprising considering I hadn't run much at all since Sawtooth Relay. Maybe that is the key...sit on the couch and eat icecream and you will run faster! I like this theory.

Bloomington and Bear Lakes

The first night we hiked to Bloomington Lake. We had to pack all our camping gear in... or should I say Danny had to pack all our camping gear in. I LOVE his new backpack! Of course Brody loved every minute.

The next day we met up with Danny's sister at Bear Lake. The 4th of July was COLD! It was only about 70 degrees but Danny was determined to take the boat out since he had towed it all the way there. Not only was it cold, but it was windy. Makes for some pretty rough water. Danny was the only one brave enough to wakeboard. I jumped in the water just once and that was enough for me.

Ethan "driving." Don't honk the horn or you get thrown overboard, just ask Ethan. Danny has done it before and I'm sure he'll do it again!

The lovely Morgan and Miriam catching a little sun.

The Results are in!

The Six Sweaty Chicks came in 25th of 68 teams in the Womens category! We ranked 150 out of 297 overall, including mens and coed teams, with a time of 9 hrs 45 min 14 sec. Not too shabby.

Six Sweaty Chicks

Yesterday was Sawtooth Relay! It started at Stanley Elementary School. The night before we went up to check out the starting line since it would be dark the next morning when we started.

The Sawtooth Mountains.

I looked pretty awesome in my required safety gear at 4:30 Saturday morning!

It was just a little chilly that morning, probably not more than 40 degrees when we started.

This is Rachel modeling our team uniform.

Beautiful exchange number 2 between Deb and Rachel.

Rachel and Camille.

Miriam modeling the pegged pants look.

Linda getting psyched to run Galena Summit. She climbed 1300 ft in elevation over 5 miles! Not only did she not stop once (like most of the runners) she was passing people left and right! She is an animal!

This is the beautiful view right before the summit.

While Linda did her thing, her teammates took advantage of the photo op. It was beautiful!

I know I look like I'm about to cry (which I didn't!) but they would have been tears of JOY! I was the first one done for the day. That was the only advantage of running my first leg at 4:30 in the morning and running leg number 7 (1400 ft. loss in elevation). I was exhausted! Sharing a hotel room with 5 other women is not a good idea if anyone actually wants to get some sleep! But it sure was fun.

This is when Deb got finished with her second leg. Can't you just feel her excitement?
Camille waiting patiently to run leg 10.

The final exchange! We are almost done!

Enjoying the after-party in Ketchum. We finished in 9 hours 51 minutes!

Heart and Sole 10K

Today was the Heart and Sole 10K in Pocatello. If it were possible for a loop course to be ALL uphill, this would be it! Even though it was the hardest 10K I've run in recent memory, I was actually pretty proud of myself. It's fun to do something challenging and feel the accomplishment of completing it. As a night shift worker, these 8 am race starts are rough. 7am comes pretty quickly when I am used to sleeping until at least 11 am!
